While there is a post about this in the announcements, since there is little more to do in that one other than watching admins climax over it (don't cross the streams), I decided to start a thread in here.

Frankly, having kicked around beta quite a bit, I know what's coming down the pipeline. Soldiers are probably going to get their pocket medic toys, and holy crap yes Pyro gets the detonator. Hope you love rocket jumping pyros. I sure did.

I'm still a bit surprised by some of the new toys though. Triple jumping Scouts. 360 degree turning demoknights. Rapid headshotting snipers from hell. Ambush heavies with silent, rapid spin up time. Spies with the power to, um, two-shot a razorback Sniper?

What do you guys think.

I had heard that all of these items where being tested in the Beta version I just never played it.

I like the idea of triple jumping, doesn't really affect too much in terms of game balance. Perhaps better at capping intel. And that new sword/knife for the Sniper looks like a pretty good weapon, more damage at lower health. I'm not too fond of Pyros but I play them occasionally so they might see a little more use now with this detonator. I'll have to see.

I hope the Engineer gets some pretty good stuff. New sentry or a different dispenser. I dunno, it'd be interesting.

Oh, crap, the engie. I don't know. I didn't see a lot of toys in Beta with the Engie. Maybe a gunslinger variation for dispenser and teleporters. I mean, hell, disposable versions of those might be useful.

Right?

The other rumor I heard is that the Engie might be getting a Telsa set, and -maybe- an electro sentry of some sort. All rumors, yes, but that one has bearing.

I like this new guy he plays team fortress 2 a lot of of you assholes could learn a thing or two from him

I think all these new changes with this new update are going to change the way team fortress 2 has commonly been played for awhile but i expect a lot of nerfing in the next month also due to this but no matter what i will have a constant hard on the entire time

as for the engi Tesla equipment sounds awesome i would like to see something different than just sentries and mini sentries maybe another construct to support the team or something controllable by remote similar to the wrangler in a way but more like an R.C Car perhaps a flame turret i doubt that would be the case but the Tesla thing got me thinking of command and conquer

Well, duh. There is always nerfing. At least they updated all the classes at once. Imagine how awful it would have been if they only ended up updating the medic, and giving him new toys. Everyone would be fighting over each other to play medic on a team.

I know how awful it would be its been like that for all class updates hurr durr my favorite was the spy vs sniper update the ubering spies with unnerfed ambassadors was great

but even if they only did update one class with achievement milestones being nearly non existent anymore there would be no fight for classes as the majority of players would not have the new toys due to random drops fucking us all over with the blackburner which kinda sucks because mowing down scouts trying to get achievements as Natasha heavy was really fun

as for hooking me up with one on one TF2ing...LMAO i feel looked down upon so ill try to nicely decline(aren't you lucky)
