Borderlands 2 is scheduled for release during Take-Two's fiscal year 2013, which begins on April 1st, 2012.

Meanwhile, there'll be an entire extra class up for grabs if when you pre-order Borderlands 2. Known as the 'Mechromancer', she's a mix of human and machine who can control a gigantic robot called D374-TP (Deathtrap). If you don't pre-order the game, you'll still be able to download her as post-release DLC that has yet to be priced.

And finally, there'll also be a Borderlands 2 special edition that'll cram the game, a bobblehead and (presumably) a bunch of other extras into one of the game's iconic loot boxes. It'll retail for $149.99.
