Set gym rules

I just think this is a bit unfair to gym challengers.

Gym leaders shouldn't be able to set custom rules.
They should use the set rules for gym leaders, two counters.

-Quizler banned steel types from his gym.

I think that's a bit extreme.
Steel is the most used type of pokemon in the game.
Not to mention it is one of the three types that resist ghost.
Dark being the second, and the least used type in the game.
Fighting being the third, and unable to use their STAB attacks on ghosts. That limits their effectiveness.

-Bumble limits his challengers to 2 OU/BL pokemon on their teams.

This is also unfair to the challenger. This isn't an E4 match, its a single-typed gym. Bullshit.
There are four perfectly good OU/BL normal typed pokemon. If he cares so much about what tiers he uses, he should use those four instead of four UU/NU pokemon.
It was his choice on which pokemon he uses for his gym team.
The challengers shouldn't have to drastically alter their team just because of his choices.

Quizler should be able to beat his challengers with the standard gym rules with his ghost team.

Bumble should be able to beat a standard OU team with his normal team.

If the gym leaders can't beat their challengers with

the standard gym rules, they should not qualify for

their position.

....Point taken, while I think leaders should be allowed a little lee-way, you make a good point. Gym rules will be edited, but all leaders will be able to retain a bit of gym custimization, regarding rules. For example baning skarm/bliss/cress. I will edit down gym rules, but banning whole types will be illegal, and setting set tiers will be changed, to maybe; you can have 5 ou, and 1 lower tier.

These rules are why Im glad I got all the badges before this took place
