| So, I've yet to get a Gen V game. I'm gonna wait until the European release, then pick up the legit Black version (my friend is getting the White one). With the changes from the duo being increased to make people buy both (due to the exclusives no longer having much of an effect with usage the GTS), me and my friend are going to swap the games when we're finished and play through each others.
Anyhow. I have questions regarding Gen V.
Not a lot are popping into mind at the moment, but I can update this thread with more questions when I remember them, right?
Also, I'm not sure if this is in the exact right place, but can an administrator move it if they think they should? _________________________________________
Firstly, Eccentric Dittos. They copy the opponent straight away, along with all stats besides HP, and all stat changes that have already taken place. Does this include stat changes that aren't shown as 'X's Y increased!'? Like, say, a Belly Drum, or a Sand Power or Sand Paddle increase; would that be copied, too? Also, does the transformation copy the opponent's ability, such as Levitate, or Sand Paddle?
Another thing. And this isn't just about Gen V, but it's something that's been bothering me for a while. Moves that gen a power boost, such as Avalanche, or Revenge. How does that fare with STAB?
Say, my Swampert knows Avalanche. Normally has 60 base power. If he gets attacked first, it gets a boost of X2, to 120. Now, say I've an Ice-type using Avalanche. If it moves first, it gets a STAB boost of 50%, bring the base power up to 90. So, would the increased Avalanche, moving after taking damage, be 150 (adding double damage, then old STAB), 180 (adding double damage, then adding new STAB), or 180 (adding STAB, then double damage)? Also, if it's holding a Life Orb, on what figures does the 30% boost come into play?
Yeah. Also, do Life Orb-holding Pokémon take recoil against a substitute in Generation V?
Thanks in advance. | |

I'm not sure about life orb though.

yes it does, but I don't believe It is not called sav any more, it's a new program called Pokebox or pokegen, i can't remember which. If your computer could manage sav least gen, then it should be able to download either of these.

| It's called pokegen, and it works a million times better than pokesav, believe me. | |

| There actually is a pokesav out already for gen V. I use it because it's more familiar to me and pokegen is awkward as balls imo. Just google it and you'll find it | |
